Marsh appoints the former execution of Axa XL as a chair of the United Kingdom

SwampThe main insurance corridor and risk advisor to the world and a Marsh McLennan business announced the appointment of Nigel Hinshelwood as president of Marsh Ltd. in the United Kingdom.

Subject to regulatory approval, Hinshelwood will succeed Tom Colraine on March 31, 2025.

Hinshelwood brings extensive experience to the role he has served as non -executive director in the financial and insurance services sector. He has served as non -executive director of the Lloyd franchise board, president of Axa XL UNSWRITING AGENCIES LTD. and AXA XL INSURANCE CO. UK LTD., and a non -executive director of Nordea.

He currently has several external appointments, including the Senior Independent Director at Lloyds Bank, a member of the International Adobe Systems Software Advisory Council and member of the Advisory Council of the International Association of Credit Portfolio Managers.

Before his non -executive roles, Hinshelwood had several executive roles at HSBC, including HSBC UK chief, HSBC Bank PLC, Global Head of Operations and HSBC Chief of HSBC INSURANCE HOLDINGS. He was previously a partner of Ernst and Young.

Rokstone hits Howden Winsley as a mgr capacity., Broker Relation Dir.

RokstoneThe MGA of international specialty based in London, MGA, which is part of the Aventum group, has announced the appointment of Rob Winsley as capacity manager and runner relations director.

Winsley joins from Howden, where a little over 10 years passed by developing his career, from the Junior corridor to the director. It has an incredible reputation in the market to build solid strategic associations with operators and corridors; Produce, administer and place successfully the large wallets of the Lloyd and London market, Rokstone said. Winsley will join the team after completing its notification period.

In this newly created role, Winsley will have a supervision of Rokstone’s distribution. It will work on all lines, exploring new opportunities for mutual growth, as well as expanding to new lines and develop more of the capacity agreements of several years than the name of Rokstone has become synonymous. He will also work in association with runners to make sure they can always trust Rokstone to place their risks efficiently, profitably and with a durable approach to service and boost better results.
