MCE ACQUISITION AND IMPACT ON THE ARCH

On August 1, 2024, Arch completed their acquisition of the Midcorp insurance companies and the US entertainment of Allianz. With the agreement in mind, Arch announced that the gross premiums written in the segment increased by 28.4% compared to the fourth quarter of 2023, or 8.1% excluding the acquisition of MCE. Net written premiums increased by 34.9% year after year, or 7.7% excluding acquisition.
