American International Group reported net income from the fourth 2024 quarter of $ 898 million compared to $ 86 million in the previous year, but insurance subscription revenues fell 29% in high catastrophe losses.

AIG said the dramatic increase in revenues for the quarter was due to the high losses of the discontinued operations recorded in the fourth quarter 2023.
